This year has been extremely busy as I not only work full time and have a family but have also been selected to attend Command and Staff College this year. However this has not stopped me spending some time progressing the book. I am still aiming for a September 2016 publication and hopefully my other aspects of my life do not get in the way of this goal.
I was fortunate enough to receive some more information and photos from different people from around the world. I was most pleased to collaborate with Michael Jung who wrote the book German Combat Divers in WWII and he has agreed to share some of his collection with me. I have also been able to acquire some copies of some German period newspapers that really give you a sense of the propaganda machine working overtime in late 1944 and early 1945.
